We invite you to a night of information and discussion to support parents and caregivers of children and youth at our Critical Conversations event on Saturday, October 28th from 7-9pm at Connors Hill (9419 95 ST NW).
Critical Conversations is a ministry and outreach initiative that provides opportunities for parents or caregivers of young people, to gain expert insight on topics of importance to them and engage in conversation with others who may be asking similar questions.
Come join the conversation! Enjoy an evening where you’ll get to hear a presentation and engage in discussion with other caregivers over coffee and desserts. The topic for October 28th is “Emotional Development & Connection in Kids & Youth” presented by registered psychologist Chelsea Ohlmann. This workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about child and youth development and to gain practical strategies that promote emotional regulation and connection in their families. This event is for caregivers only, so unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate kids or youth.
Admission is a $5 suggested donation. This event is open to the public. Please invite your friends who may benefit from this opportunity especially if they are without a church family of their own.
