CENTRAL WOMEN
The heart of women's ministry at Central is to create opportunities for women from across the generations to have meaningful connections, build relationships, and to disciple, mentor, and encourage each other in our faith journeys. Our shared desire is to follow Jesus together, growing in worship, deepening in community, and moving on mission. This ministry is led by women of the congregation for women of the congregation and occurs through various small group opportunities and large group events.
Central Women has different expressions at each of our three sites. Please sign up for email updates below to stay informed about all that is happening at the site you attend, and fill out the interest form so we can reach out to you and get you connected.
We’d love to have you join us!
Join us on Wednesday, January 8, from 6:30-7:30 PM (in the Fireside room at Connors Hill) to learn about our mission trip to Romania. We've partnered with believers in Romania for over 30 years, and this trip will support the continued development of Camp Falcon Rock (more at rootsinromania.com). We're looking for 12-15 people—trades experience is a plus, but not required. Our goal is to assist with the camp’s building project, bless the local team and churches, and experience God’s Kingdom through service. Please fill out the form below to RSVP for the meeting or to express your interest in joining the trip, even if you’re unable to attend the interest night.
Please RSVP HERE. We look forward to seeing you there!
The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. The course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your relationship strong. The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background.
Each session of The Marriage Course consists of a meal, a practical talk on topics related to marriage and a time for private discussion between you and your partner. Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.
The course starts on Thursday, January 9th and runs for 7 weeks until Thursday, February 27th (no gathering on January 16th because of Prayer week.) We will meet together in the gym at Connors Hill from 6:30-9:30pm. Registration is limited to 12 couples and costs $250 per couple. This cost includes a three-course meal on each of the gatherings and the teaching workbooks. If you would like to attend but finances are an issue, please let us know.
Registration is open. REGISTER HERE. The registration deadline is Sunday, January 5th.

Each January, we dedicate a week to intentionally clearing our schedules—both as a church and in our households—to focus on prayer. Through nightly gatherings, we come together to share our hearts with Jesus and listen for what He wants to say to us.
We invite you to join in three meaningful ways:
Experiment with new rhythms: Explore spiritual practices to make new room for God’s presence and power as you step into the new year.
Clear your calendar for Prayer Week: Plan to fully engage in nightly gatherings and prayer events (January 13-17) with our church community.
Share what you’re hearing: Listen for what Jesus is speaking to you and to our church, and share these insights with our leadership throughout the month.

Join us on Monday as we kick off Prayer Week. Start the week by gathering for worship, intentionally posturing ourselves to hear from God. Through brief teaching and guided listening, we’ll focus on learning how to hear Jesus’ voice and share what He reveals to us.

Spend time on Saturday praying where you are! We’ll share a resource in January to help you or your household pray for your neighbourhood. Use it to walk through your community, listening for God’s voice, or pray from home as you seek His heart for your neighbours and His mission where you live.
