You are invited to the study “Nothing Wasted” by Kasey van Norman. Kasey takes the pressure off of outing our past, instead revealing God as the perfecter of everything that brings us shame or pain. God does not care if we are the reason for or the recipient of our messes—he wants us to understand the magnitude of receiving his grace and trust him to transform our pain into something glorious! With God, nothing is wasted.
We will dig into this study through both videos and book discussion over the course of 6 weeks. Then, on the 7th week, we will gather for a fellowship brunch! We’ll meet at Connors Hill on Tuesdays from 10am to noon, starting January 27.
Registration is open. Register using the link HERE, and please indicate whether you’d like us to order you a copy of the study book. In order to receive your book in time for the start of the study, please register by January 13.
Hey Central Young Adults! Join us on January 27th at Connors Hill for week 2 of “How to Wreck Everything You Love.”
“How to Wreck Everything You Love” is a raw, no-filter journey into what happens when you take Jesus’ Beatitudes and intentionally live the opposite of them. This series exposes the slow, subtle habits that sabotage your relationships, corrode your heart, and quietly dismantle your community—pride instead of humility, bitterness instead of mercy, chaos instead of peace. It’s uncomfortable on purpose. We’re naming the attitudes that destroy us so we can finally see why Jesus’ way isn’t just good advice—it’s the only path that doesn’t end in ruins.

Come learn, discuss things in breakouts, meet other parents, and find support.

Authentic Living is a 10-week course for Christians at all stages of life, focused on spiritual growth, emotional health, and intentional living. It is part of the Freedom Session curriculum developed by Pastor Ken Dyck of BC.
We have run the full Foundations course of Freedom Session numerous times at Central, and it has been deeply life-giving for many. We’re excited to bring the Authentic Living portion of that program back into the life of our church.
Throughout the course, participants will learn how to hear and respond to God’s voice, establish healthy priorities, process disappointment and conflict in life-giving ways, and develop an authentic life plan rooted in biblical truth. This is a safe and supportive space to get real about faith, character, relationships, and the patterns that shape our lives.
The program is scheduled to run Wednesday evenings, January 28 - April 1 (10 consecutive weeks) from 6:30-8:30pm at the Sherwood Park site. The cost is $30 which covers the workbook and course materials.
Registration is required. Please RSVP HERE!

Who is God? Can we trust the Bible? What happens after death? Those are just some of the questions we’ll answer together that lay the foundation of what we believe about God, ourselves, and our world according to Scripture. This class is for anyone who wants to explore the major tenants of our faith and explore why and how believing what we do matters for our lives and our world, today.
We will meet on Wednesday evenings in the Fireside Room at Connors Hill from 6:30-8pm, January 21 - March 4.
