Join us on Saturday, February 21st from 10am to 1pm in the foyer at Connors Hill for the Central Art Group. Bring any art or craft project you are working on and share in fellowship as you do art together! Children are also welcome! If you are an unmarried adult age 30-43 (if you’re 29 or 44, you’re still invited), join us on Saturday, February 21 from 6:30-10pm at the Sherwood Park site for a potluck!

This is a casual potluck gathering with no set menu. If you have specific dietary needs, please bring your own meal to enjoy among friends. This is an opportunity to come together, share a meal, engage in conversation, and build fellowship with others in our church community.

Central's Day Camp - Kingdom Quest- will run from July 13 - 17, 2026 at the Connors Hill Site. The theme this year is Kingdom Quest - An Epic Journey to Discover God's Kingdom!

At this point we are looking for people to sign up to help in the various areas of the Day Camp so that we can open camper registration near the beginning of April. Without volunteers camp cannot happen. Take a look at the various roles where you could serve and sign up today. Some of the positions are behind the scenes getting ready for Day Camp and some are the week of Camp. There is a place for everyone!

If you’ve been considering baptism as a next step in your journey with Jesus, we’d love to walk with you. Sometimes we have questions, or simply find it helpful to have a space to listen and learn—which is why we’re hosting an Exploring Baptism event on Sunday, February 22nd at 2pm at the Sherwood Park site. This is an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and explore what baptism could look like for you alongside others in our community that may be feeling the same.

For those under the age of 16 that are interested in attending, we ask that you sign up to attend with a parent or guardian.

Asking for a Friend is a two-week Young Adults series happening Tuesday, February 17th and 24th, built around the real questions young adults are actually asking about dating, sex, relationships, marriage, and everything in between. No dodging, no churchy non-answers—just honest, thoughtful conversation.

On February 24th, we’ll wrap the series with a Relationships Panel, responding to questions submitted by YOU. You can submit your questions anytime through our anonymous Google Form HERE.

Join us every other Wednesday for our Seniors Prayer Group at the Sherwood Park site. Our next gathering will be on February 25th. We’ll meet in the auditorium from 10-11:30am. We hope to see you there!

Meet new people and explore the Christian faith together. Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. No judgement, no pressure. Each session unpacks a big question of life, faith, and purpose, and is designed to spark conversation. Come along, see what you think.

Alpha will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm starting February 25 and ending April 8. It will meet at the Connors Hill (9419 95 ST NW) site and is open to everyone.

On Friday, February 27, you're invited to join us for a fun morning at the Sherwood Bowl bowling lanes from 10-11:30am. Whether you love to bowl or would rather just sit, visit, and enjoy good conversation, this morning is about connection, laughter, and being together. If you're 60+, we'd love to have you join us for this fun morning! Cost is free. For anyone who would like to carpool, we’ll meet in the church parking lot at 9:30am.

Join us for G@P on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7pm at our Southeast site. Gerald & Merilyn Scheel, who attend at our Southeast site, recently made the decision to relocate from the warm temperatures of Las Vegas to snowy Edmonton to be closer to family. They will share their interesting journey with us.

Join us on Monday, March 9 at 7pm at our Sherwood Park site to learn more about making Central your church home. You will hear about our vision and direction at Central, and you’ll have an opportunity to get to know others who are starting to plug in at Central, too.

This class is for all three sites and is designed for those who would like to learn more about Central or for those who would like to formally join the church. If you'd like to join the church, please come prepared to share a 3-4 minute version of your faith story (in small groups).

Sherwood Park ladies! Back by popular demand, join us for an evening of Trivia, Treats & Togetherness on Tuesday, March 10th from 7-9 pm at the Sherwood Park site. Bring a treat, a friend, or just come to have some fun. *Trivia knowledge not required!

Registration is OPEN for the annual ABA Sr High Retreat at Camp Caroline March 13-15, 2026! The cost is $130 per student, but let us know if cost would impact your attendance. The deadline is February 20th. Please get registered ASAP because space is limited.

Some Details

• Mar 13 - drop-off 5/5:10PM @ Central Baptist Southeast. All three sites will bus together from the SE site and will depart for Camp Caroline at 5:30PM.

• Mar 15 - pick-up 4PM approx. @ Central Baptist Southeast. We will text updates to parents during our drive home.

• Complete an ILOC form for each student attending and send a copy to Mike.

• Send e-transfer payments to events@followingtogether.com with “Sr High Retreat” and the student’s name in the memo line. Talk to Mike, Reg, or Jess to pay by cheque or cash.

For students not going on the retreat, there will be NO youth gatherings on March 13th.

We’re genuinely so excited about this. This will be the first Young Adults retreat we’ve ever done, and we’re not doing it alone. We’re partnering with The Assembly, a network of young adult ministries from across our city, to host a joint retreat together. That means more people, more community, shared worship, and a really unique chance to connect with young adults beyond just our own group.

This weekend is all about getting away from normal life, slowing down, building real friendships, worshipping together, laughing a lot, and creating shared memories—not just as a single YA group, but as part of what God is doing across our city.
