You are invited to a morning of connection and prayer. The purpose is to meet for a time to connect with other women from Connors Hill over coffee/tea and to pray for each other and the world around us. It meets one Saturday per month at 10am. There is no need to commit to every session—come when you can, and feel free to invite a friend!

Join us on Saturday, March 7th from 10am to 1pm in the foyer at Connors Hill for the Central Art Group. Bring any art or craft project you are working on and share in fellowship as you do art together! Children are also welcome! This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, and is run by Steph Dalmer and Joy Pedersen. Please email Joy or Steph for more information.

Join us on Monday, March 9 at 7pm at our Sherwood Park site to learn more about making Central your church home. You will hear about our vision and direction at Central, and you’ll have an opportunity to get to know others who are starting to plug in at Central, too.

This class is for all three sites and is designed for those who would like to learn more about Central or for those who would like to formally join the church. If you'd like to join the church, please come prepared to share a 3-4 minute version of your faith story (in small groups).

Sherwood Park ladies! Back by popular demand, join us for an evening of Trivia, Treats & Togetherness on Tuesday, March 10th from 7-9 pm at the Sherwood Park site. Bring a treat, a friend, or just come to have some fun. *Trivia knowledge not required!

Join us every other Wednesday for our Seniors Prayer Group at the Sherwood Park site. Our next gathering will be on March 11th. We’ll meet in the auditorium from 10-11:30am. We hope to see you there!

The Connors Hill Senior’s Ministry Team will be hosting a drop in light lunch on Wednesday, March 11 from 12-1pm.  All 55+ are welcome.  Lunch will be served in the Fireside Room immediately after the 1029 Bible Study.

Registration is NOW CLOSED for the annual ABA Sr High Retreat at Camp Caroline March 13-15, 2026! As a reminder for those who have registered, the cost is $130 per student, but let us know if cost would impact your attendance.

Some Details

• Mar 13 - drop-off 5/5:10PM @ Central Baptist Southeast. All three sites will bus together from the SE site and will depart for Camp Caroline at 5:30PM.

• Mar 15 - pick-up 4PM approx. @ Central Baptist Southeast. We will text updates to parents during our drive home.

• Complete an ILOC form for each student attending and send a copy to Mike.

• Send e-transfer payments to events@followingtogether.com with “Sr High Retreat” and the student’s name in the memo line. Talk to Mike, Reg, or Jess to pay by cheque or cash.

For students not going on the retreat, there will be NO youth gatherings on March 13th.

Central's Day Camp - Kingdom Quest- will run from July 13 - 17, 2026 at the Connors Hill Site. The theme this year is Kingdom Quest - An Epic Journey to Discover God's Kingdom!

At this point we are looking for people to sign up to help in the various areas of the Day Camp so that we can open camper registration near the beginning of April. Without volunteers camp cannot happen. Take a look at the various roles where you could serve and sign up today. Some of the positions are behind the scenes getting ready for Day Camp and some are the week of Camp. There is a place for everyone!

Save the date for a Sherwood Park Men's Breakfast! Join other men from our Sherwood Park site on Saturday, March 21st at 8:30am for a morning of fellowship, being encouraged through the word, and good food.

Our guest speaker will be Jeremy Putz, Central’s lead pastor, who will speak about Godly leadership.

Join us for a Prayer Ministry Night on Sunday, March 22nd at 6:30pm at our Southeast site. This will be a time to lift one another up in prayer before the Father. Come experience hope, healing and God’s presence as we pray together for the needs on our hearts.

Join us on Friday, March 27th from 7-9pm for an evening of heartfelt worship, prayer, and connection as we gather at McDougall to lift the name of Jesus together. Come expectant for God’s presence and to experience a sense of awe at the goodness of our God!

Everyone is welcome — bring your friends, your family, and your whole heart!

Note: Parking is limited and will be first come, first served. Doors open at 6:30pm. The McDougall parking lot will be free/no cost that night (our parking lot is the paid lot that follows the building. There is another paid lot to the north past a small fence. You will need to pay for parking if you park in that lot.) If our parking lot fills up, there are affordable street parking and a parkade nearby as other options.

You are invited to join us for a Seniors Connection event at our Sherwood Park site on Saturday, March 28th from 10-11:30am. Invite a friend and join us for some activities, teaching, and sharing—and, of course, plenty of snacks!

Geared for anyone 60+, this event is designed to be an opportunity to meet and connect with others in our congregation in some meaningful ways. We'd love to see you there!

The Central Social Club is proud to present...The Spring Fling Mixer...taking place on Saturday, April 11th at Central Baptist Church, Connors Hill site (9419 95 St NW, Edmonton).

Doors open at 6:50 pm for check-in, and we will kick things off at 7 pm.

This is a semi-formal dress event for single Christians age 25-45. There will be mingling, activities, light appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages.
