Every year, at the Easter Service, we receive an offering for ministries outside of Central. This year, our offering will go towards two different projects: the Kairos Brazil Scholarship Special Project and Central’s Missions Endowment Fund. Please be praying about how the Lord may be asking you to participate!

  • The Kairos Brazil Scholarship Special Project. The Kairos Brazil Scholarship Special Project allows Brazilian pastors, church planters, missionaries, and lay leaders to receive further training through the partnership between the Baptist Seminary in southern Brazil and Sioux Falls Seminary. These scholarships go directly to pay the cost of tuition at Sioux Falls Seminary. Brazilian students are then responsible for paying the education costs at the Brazilian Baptist Seminary, which is in their currency and affordable based on their living conditions. Without these scholarships, it would be impossible for Brazilian students to afford quality accredited education at this level. Besides training ministers of the Gospel for such a time as this, as more and more students receive their masters and doctorate, more and more qualified professors will be available to teach at the Baptist Seminary in Brazil. Thank you so much for contributing to the education of our current and future students! - Lyndell Campbell Requia, North American Baptist Missionary

  • Missions Endowment Fund. The Missions Endowment Fund is a permanent investment fund, established by the people of Central in 2012, where the income each year produces grants to fund local and global missions work. Currently the fund is at $657,493 and produces about $26,000 in grants each year, 100% of which are invested in missions efforts beyond our church. Each contribution to this fund has the potential to impact generations to come with the Gospel!
