Come on out Friday and Saturday as we kick off our Youth Ministry for the 21/22 year! We will be meeting at our Southeast Site on Friday evening from 7-11pm, and then on Saturday we will be meeting at our Connors Hill Site and bussing to an acreage outside of town. We will be leaving Connors Hill at noon and returning at 10pm.
We will be digging into relationships, worship, small groups, games, and having some food together!
The Friday night is no cost but the Saturday is $20 to help cover the bus, food, and a T-shirt. You do not need to register! Please make cheques to “Central Baptist Church” with “Youth Retreat” on the memo line. Payment may also be made by e-transfer to give@followingtogether.com. Please include “Youth Retreat Payment” in the e-transfer message.

THEME:
Our theme for this year is “The Parables of Jesus.” Many of the religious people of the day used lofty, theological words when they spoke to the people, but Jesus used stories to meet people where they were at. Jesus wanted God to be relatable, understandable, and accessible to everyone. Over the course of this weekend and upcoming year, we are going to look at some of the different parables of Jesus and how they still relate to us today.
