Sherwood Park youth parents, you are invited to a short but informative meeting on Sunday, September 15th, 2-3pm! We will share information about the Fall schedule of events, ideas, and logistics (such as planning carpooling) over some coffee and treats. We want to take time to hear about and pray for specific needs in your youth’s lives and about the school year ahead!

Friday, May 31st is our next Central Youth Site Night! Come on out to your site (the site you usually attend on Sundays, except for Sherwood Park, which will meet at the Probert’s house at 6:30pm) for some games, worship, teaching and small groups! On Friday, May 24th, we’re at Connor's Hill for a Coffeehouse AND After Youth at Line's place! Coffeehouse will meet in the Youth Room at 7pm, and we will hear from Daniel Jimenez who is one of our supported missionaries in Mexico working with YWAM.

Immediately following Coffeehouse, we have After Youth! After Youth is for all Youth students and we walk just down the road to Line Fortier's house and spend time just hanging out! She has food and games ready to go for us so we are sooo thankful we get to do that! Pick up is at her house at 10:30pm!

On Friday, April 19th, all youth will meet at Connors Hill for a great night together! We will be playing "Diamond Smugglers" which is an immersive game filled with excitement and intrigue! Can't wait! 

Youth Echelon, our Student Bible Study, is resuming!

Echelon is for students who want to dig deep. Echelon is open to all youth students but it is geared towards High School students. Echelon is a commitment based Bible study where students are expected to do homework, read scripture, have discussions and commit to weekly attendance.

We will meet on Wednesday evenings in the Youth Room at Connors Hill from 7-9pm starting April 10th. We will be studying the book of Acts using a great video teaching series by Louie Giglio. Check out the trailer video HERE!

Due to the weather the past couple months, we have had to do a handful of Games Nights at CH. And while those have been lots of fun, we wanted to freshen things up a bit!

So instead, WE ARE GOING TO LAUNCHPAD! LaunchPad is an indoor trampoline park (6142 50 St NW, Edmonton, Southside Location). We will be meeting there at 7pm and have the trampoline park till 8:30pm. After 8:30pm, there is an A&W right by Launchpad that we are all going to go over to!

We are sorry for any confusion this week! There is an error on the calendar that got sent out. It says we are supposed to be doing Small Groups Night tonight, but instead we are going to do a Site Night! This means that EACH SITE will be meeting from 7-9pm. It's a wonderful opportunity to hear stories of what God has done among us, enjoy each other's company, and wrap up this amazing week in the warmth of community. Following the event, our prayer ministry team will be available for anyone seeking prayer for healing or breakthrough. It's a night to deepen our connection with God and one another, and respond to his call in our lives to share his love with others.

On Thursday, we'll meet at each of our three sites for a night of outward-focused prayer. Join us as we lift up our friends and family who don't know Jesus, pray for the impact of our sites in the surrounding neighbourhoods, and intercede for our supported missionaries serving both locally and around the world. Let's come together and make a difference beyond the walls of our church.

Join us on Wednesday as we gather in separate rooms – men, women, and youth – for a powerful night of prayer. This is an opportunity for each group to dive into areas uniquely suited to them, creating a space for connection, support, and spiritual growth. All youth (grades 7-12) are invited to join this special night, while men and women can pray into specific needs within their respective communities. It's a night to care for one another and experience the strength found in collective prayer.

For the men & women, the evening will begin at 7pm and go until 8:15pm. The youth will meet from 7-9pm.

On Friday, January 19th from 7-9pm we are going skating together at Strathearn Community League Rink (9511 90 ST NW, Edmonton). Bring your skates, gloves, sticks and pucks!
If the weather is bad/too cold, plan B is to meet at Connors Hill for a movie night.

On Friday, January 12th, all youth will meet at our Connors Hill Site and have a fun Games Night! We are going to do a bunch of stuff as a whole group, but we are also going to be splitting the church up into different areas for different games! In the gym we will have some floor hockey, basketball, volleyball and other games happening. In the Youth Room we will have snacks, Rockband, Wii, Foosball, and hanging out. In the Fireside room will be board games/group games! Hope to see you there!
