This February 15th, Central Baptist Church and Global Aware Children’s Care are excited to welcome you all to our Royal Valentine’s Extravaganza Event! Similar to the previous Winter Wonderland Event hosted in November, this event is one designed specifically with young families and children aged 1 to 10 years old in mind!

Grade 5,6 students and their grade 5,6 friends from all three sites are invited to come bowl on February 2nd! We will be meeting at Sherwood Bowl in Sherwood Park to “glow bowl”—so wear something that will glow in the dark.

We have a maximum capacity, so pre-registration is required. If you do not pre-register, we cannot guarantee a spot. We will be bowling from 2:45 - 4:15pm. Please arrive on time or you might miss your first game.

We’re planning a short-term mission trip to Mexico for spring 2026 and want to invite you to an interest night on Wednesday, January 22, from 6:30-7:30 PM (we will meet in the Fireside Room at Connors Hill.) This trip is open to families and those of all ages and is a fantastic opportunity to stretch your faith and connect with others while experiencing a new part of the world. The mission will be connected with our long-standing partnership with a church and other partners in Mexico. Come join us for our Jingle Jam Family Christmas Breakfast on Saturday, December 7th from 9 -11:30am. We will be serving a pancake breakfast with gluten friendly options available. Come for breakfast, a Christmas program, games, crafts and fun. It’s truly a Christmas party big enough for the whole family!

The cost is $25 per family. Jingle Jam is for families and kids of all ages, but the program is geared to elementary kids. Doors open at 8:45am, breakfast served at 9:00am. Save time in the morning, bring your kids in their Christmas pyjamas if you like.
