We are excited to announce that we are recommending Graeme Rattray for the position of Southeast Site Pastor.
He will be at the Southeast site on Sunday, November 27th and will be preaching that morning (with the sermon being streamed to Connors Hill and Sherwood Park).
After the 11am service, we’ll have a pizza lunch together during which Jeremy will interview Graeme & Sarena, giving you a chance to hear more of their story and heart for ministry.
Please RSVP for the lunch below so we can plan well. We will be accepting donations to help cover the cost of the lunch with a suggested donation of $20/family, $10/couple and $5/individual. However, please do not let cost keep you from coming!
We also invite you to prayerfully take part in a congregational vote of affirmation at followingtogether.com/decision. If you need a physical ballot, please contact the church office or pick one up at church on December 4th. We encourage you to be a part of this important process, and please be praying in advance!
Graeme is married to Sarena, and they have a daughter (Kyra) and a son (Connor). Kyra is married to Nolan and they have a son named Benjamin.
Graeme grew up in Edmonton attending Millwoods Evangelical Free Church, and in 2002 he became the part-time Youth Minister there. In 2005, he and his family moved to Okotoks, Alberta to be the Worship Pastor at Okotoks Evangelical Free Church. During this time, he also fulfilled the role of Campus Pastor for a multisite project the church was engaged in. In 2013, he and his family moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand to work as missionaries focused on anti-trafficking. They returned to Canada in 2020, where they continued to serve with the EFCC Mission as Ministry Coaches.
We believe God has gifted Graeme uniquely for this role, and we have felt the Lord’s clear leading to invite him to serve in this key position.
