Lent 2021: February 17 - April 3
Walking Together With Jesus
As a church, we'll be walking through the season of Lent to seek God's voice together, and we invite you to be a part of it. These 7 weeks will include resources to help you press in personally and as a family, and evening prayer gatherings on Tuesdays (online starting at 7pm) and Wednesdays (in person at Connors Hill starting at 7pm).
This is an opportunity to try, to test, to experiment, to practice some of the changes we’re longing for God to help us to make in our lives. It’s an opportunity to invite God’s power into our hearts in a fresh way. We encourage you to consider ways in which God may be asking you to fast from or let go of things, and consider ways in which God may be asking you to adopt new practices or take hold of new things in this time.
The goal is that we could hear God's voice together and prepare ourselves to respond to ways that he's calling us forward as individuals and as a church.
Ways to engage...
Resources. If you are on Central’s email list, you’ll receive an intro package the week before Lent 2021 begins to help you press in personally and as a family. There is also a family specific resource that you can download.
Gathered Prayer. Every Tuesday and Wednesday during Lent there will be an opportunity to gather with others to worship and pray together. Our all church prayer gatherings on Tuesdays will take place online via Zoom starting at 7pm. Our all church prayer gatherings on Wednesdays will take place at Connors Hill at 7pm. GROUPS. We encourage GROUPS and other ministries to consider engaging together in Lent prayer gatherings instead of your regular meetings.
