What stands out to you from this passage? How does this passage most challenge or encourage you?
Compare the two lists in Colossians 3:5-14 with the two lists in Galatians 5:13-23. What similarities can you find between these passages?
What metaphor does Paul use in Colossians 3:15 in reference to his audience, and what does he say they are called to? Reflect on what this could mean for our church today.
Colossians 3:18-4:1, shows us how the attributes listed earlier can be applied to our daily lives and our significant relationships. How are Paul’s instructions in this section, contrary to what our world teaches? How are his instructions in line with what our world would say is the better way to live?
As you consider the list of attributes in Colossians 3:12-14, are there changes that you would like to make in your life?
As you consider the three significant relationships that Paul discusses in this passage, which one is the most applicable to you for the season that you are currently in? In what ways do you need to change your heart, mindset, or behavior in that relationship to be more like Jesus?
How do you want to respond to this passage in your daily life?
