On Friday, November 19th we’ll be meeting at our Southeast site (4357 Savaryn Drive SW) for a Central Youth Worship Night!

This year we are digging deep into some of the different Parables that Jesus taught. Jesus specifically taught in parables because it made the gospel message really approachable to the people of the day. Much of the religious teaching of the day was done with eloquent words and had been twisted to say what the religious leaders wanted it to say. Jesus intentionally spoke against this and made the gospel message something that the average person could grasp and understand.

At our Kick Off Weekend we started off by looking at the Parable of the lost son, and over the rest of the year we are going to continue looking at some of the other Parables of Jesus.
