Whether you live close to your kids and grandkids or a distance away, you will want to hear Gord Poley share his experiences of long distance grandparenting. Gord hails from the Maritimes and for 25 years served as a pastor there before joining the Canadian Armed Forces as a chaplain. In 2015 Gord was posted to CFB in Edmonton and upon his retirement from military chaplaincy he accepted the position of Pastor to Seniors at Steele Heights Baptist Church. Gord and his wife have 4 daughters and 6 granddaughters and each summer travel back to the Maritimes to spend time with their grandkids. Gord will also lead us in music with his guitar.

Enjoy the fellowship of other grandparents who are praying that their grandkids will follow Jesus all the days of their lives. Refreshments and coffee will be available.
