TEACHING RECAP

Summary: Thriving in life flows directly from healthily relationships with God and others. But how do we build that connection? The church, when it is working as it should, is the answer. The “body of Christ” is designed by God to be an authentic community defined by humility, service and love.

Main Points:

  1. HUMILITY: Authentic community starts with having an accurate view of who we are in Jesus.

  2. SERVICE: Authentic community grows as we use our God-given gifts to build up his church.

  3. LOVE: Authentic community is mature when we truly put others first in our thoughts, words and actions.

On-Ramps:

  • Keep on growing your Daily Scripture in Weekly Worship habits.

  • Serve faithfully in the community of Central in a variety of ways.

  • Decide to follow Jesus intentionally together with a smaller group.
